I love Kaya's face mold and her beautiful black hair....But, I want to make her into an AGOT doll...
I have a friend who owns her own hair salon. I was thinking of purchasing one and having her layer or cut her hair into a cute hairstyle. But, then cutting and AG girls hair plays on my mind...I won't even let my girls cut their Barbie?s hair.
I just have a problem purposely damaging a doll. But, I have been in debate with myself for months on this...I really think she would look great!
Please help...What to do?
Thanks,
Becky

You can always send her to the AGH if you REALLY don't like it.
I think if your thinking about it seriously like this, you should get the hair cut.
Don't worry about the girls Barbies, this is YOUR doll.

I'd suggest buying the doll, and a new wig from a wig site. You can rewig her into whatever style you like, and if you cant find an exact one, you could have you friend cut the new wig. Also, the clipped hair on the back of Kaya's head would make it thinner in the back if it was down all the time.
Save the AG wig, in case you ever decide you want her to be Kaya again.

Our Kaya came to us from ebay with bad hair. It has been cut and is quite thin. I love it though since she is a today girl. We keep it in pigtails with little braids. I like the idea of the wig swap just in case you don't like it but I have to say she is adorable with a little less hair .

What site would I buy an 18" doll wig from? Any recommendations?

I must say that PERSONALLY I would never cut MY Kaya's hair, but diversity is what makes our world, our dolls, and this board special, so you must do what you want to do with your dolls. Do what makes you happy so you can enjoy them with as much giddiness as a child on Christmas morning!
